Kindergarten registration for students entering Kindergarten in the 2010/2011 school year is scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 4:30 – 6:30 PM and Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM at all elementary schools in the Pinckney Community Schools. Students who will be 5 years of age by December 1, 2010 may enroll in Kindergarten at either Country Elementary, Farley Hill Elementary, Lakeland Elementary or Pinckney Elementary for kindergarten programs in any of our buildings.  Parents need to bring their child’s legal birth certificate, proof of vision screening, immunization record and proof of residency (if new to the district).  Please stop by to register even if you do not have the completed requirements.
Students will have the opportunity to purchase popcorn on most Fridays during the school year. Popcorn will be sold for 25 cents per bag.

The PTO will hold their monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in the media center.  FREE childcare is available.

Each day the end doors are locked at 9:10 am and remain locked until the following morning when they are opened again for student arrival. After this all parents are required to sign stu- dents in at the office. Fortunately the design of our school and the locked doors require all visi- tors to enter through the front door and walk past the office windows. We are acutely aware of who has entered the building and stop anyone who has not checked in at the office.
